Exporting & retaining your data

How to get your data out of DeskHelp and how long it's kept.

Your data belongs to you. DeskHelp makes it straightforward to take it with you and to remove it when you're done.

Exporting your data

You can export your ticket data — including subjects, statuses, priorities, assignees, and timestamps — for reporting or migration. Exports preserve the full ticket history so nothing is lost.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account or workspace is active, so your history is always available to you.

Deletion

When you delete your account or a workspace, the associated data is removed. Because of how relationships are enforced, deleting a workspace cleanly removes its tickets and replies along with it. Some records may be retained briefly where required for legal or accounting reasons.
